Sample Requests
Although we do our best to represent the colour and texture of our blinds as accurately as possible, computer monitors vary significantly. Because all our blinds are custom made, we can not accept any responsibility for blinds which do not match you décor exactly. If an exact colour match is required, then please request a sample before placing your order as we can only accept returns in cases where we have supplied incorrectly.
Once you receive your sample, keep in mind that all samples may still have minimal colour variations as stated by the manufacturers. In addition to the above considerations regarding colour, we'd like to suggest that you order all of your blinds of a given colour at one time. There are sometimes slight variations between dye lots.
Window Measurements
For both inside and outside mounts the finished measurements of the window treatment are from the top of the headrail to the bottom of the bottomrail (or in the case of verticals the bottom of the vanes) for the height. The width is from the left edge of the window treatment to the right edge.
Inside mount
An inside mount fits within the window frame. On inside mounts specific deductions are taken by the factory for operating clearance. These deductions vary for each product and are only approximate deductions. Outside mount
An outside mount overlaps the window opening. Allowances are not taken by the factory on these product. This is because you will need to supply us the exact measurements that you would like the window treatment to be. This includes adding extra for the width and the height to clear any trim etc if you so wish.

Payment Options
Since all products from Blinds-Depot.co.uk are custom made to your specifications, all orders are paid for when your order is placed. Visa, Mastercard, Switch & Maestro are accepted online. Cheques, postal orders etc must be sent to us before your order is started. All orders paid by cheque will require a holding period of 7-10 days for your cheque to clear before the order will be put into production.
Changes, Cancellations and Refunds
Because our products are custom made to your exact specifications, they are not suitable for resale by us, therefore, it is important that you are sure of your purchase decisions prior to placing your order. We send your order details to the factory and automatically charge your credit card for the total sale price, immediately after you complete your online order. Unless there is a delay in placing your order because we need additional information from you, an order received from you for in stock materials before 3.00 pm will normally begin production within 12 hours.
Cancellations and Changes in orders can only be made for a period of 12 hours after your order is placed. All cancellations and changes effected during this 12 hour period will be subject to an administration charge of 6%. In the event that you cancel your order during this 12 hour period, Blinds-Depot.co.uk will refund your money minus this administration charge. Under no circumstance will Blinds-Depot.co.uk either refund any money or issue any credits for a credit card purchase if the cancellation or change occurs at any time beyond this 12 hour period.
On extremely rare occasions there may be delays caused by out-of-stock materials, shipping delays, temporary factory overload, holidays, or other factors beyond our control. In the event of a known delay, you will be contacted that day. Blinds-Depot.co.uk reserves the right to reject any order, at its discretion.
Discontinued and/or Back Ordered Items
Blinds-Depot.co.uk has no control over materials that are discontinued or placed on backorder by the various manufacturers. Blinds-Depot.co.uk will make every effort to remove discontinued items as soon as we are made aware of them and will notify you whenever we receive notice of any backorders.
VAT
All prices quoted on our website are inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate.
Inspection of Merchandise
IMPORTANT: Inspect your blinds as soon as you receive them and notify Blinds-Depot.co.uk immediately of any damages in shipment. Also, please check to make sure that the products you ordered were made exactly as you specified when you ordered them. If you notify Blinds-Depot.co.uk that the merchandise has been damaged in shipment or was made incorrectly within 24 hours of the date that the merchandise is delivered to you, Blinds-Depot.co.uk will have the damaged merchandise either repaired or replaced at no cost to you.
If you do not notify Blinds-Depot.co.uk that the merchandise has been damaged in shipment during this 48 hour period, Blinds-Depot.co.uk will not repair or replace the damaged merchandise at no cost to you.
Do I Need to Buy Hardware or Screws?
All hardware is provided with the exception of screws. This is due to the fact that differing screws are needed in differing applications. The exact length and type of screw will vary depending on whether you are mounting your blinds into drywall, wood, concrete or metal. As a result we do not send mounting screws with your order.

You have the right to see what is held about you and correct any inaccuracies.
